Quoi faire

Amiens, in the heart of the Somme region, is ideally located for exploring the region's treasures. After your visit to the floating gardens, why not extend your experience? Here are some ideas for discovering even more treasures in Amiens and its surrounding area.

- Thursdays at Ile Aux Fruits in Amiens: Very friendly and welcoming, in a guinguette style. Every Thursday, mini concerts take place there from 5 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Admission is free. Ideal for enjoying an aperitif and nibbling on local products outdoors. A concept and values to discover!

- Marquenterre Park: a magnificent bird sanctuary in the Somme Bay. Go there with binoculars to make the most of all the species to observe.

- The Bay of Somme (1 hour drive from Amiens): so much to see, the view from the Bois de Cise in Ault, the seals at Pointe du Hourdel, eating a mussel and chips in Saint Valéry and strolling along the fine sandy beaches of Le Crotoy. Crossing the bay on foot with a guide is an activity not to be missed!
