You can enjoy the peace and quiet of the floating gardens in an electric boat for a private guided tour, combining history, nature, geography, anecdotes, and retracing the life of Amiens and its surroundings as the rivers flow.
1 hour of timeless and exotic moments where you will discover wild places, pleasure gardens, market garden plots, small winding streams and wide open spaces.
A departure from the heart of the hortillonnages from the towpath will allow you to appreciate its many facets.
Your guide Julien, born in Amiens, also offers availability outside of regular visiting hours if you wish to enjoy a special moment.
Whatever your desire and whatever the charm of the seasons, you can discover what nature has to offer in these preserved marshes, unique in France.
You will have comfortable seating with small cushions, as well as comforting blankets for cooler weather.

Meeting point: 137 bis Chemin de Halage. You can leave your bikes or strollers on site.
Allow 20 minutes on foot from the start of the towpath.
Where to park: Enter 6 boulevard Beauville on your GPS to park on the service road at the start of the towpath (allow a 20-minute walk after parking to reach the meeting point).

Prepare your visit well
The tour does not require any special mandatory equipment, but it is advisable to adapt to an outdoor activity, so bring warm clothes in cold weather (gloves, hat, scarf), an umbrella or raincoat in case of rain, as well as normal shoes or sneakers (stilettos and flip-flops should be avoided). Bring sunglasses, headwear, sunscreen and a bottle of water in hot weather.

We will make arrangements on a case-by-case basis depending on the situation. Tickets paid in advance are 100% refundable without conditions up to 48 hours before departure.
